Splash Page
Many web sites use a Splash Page to present a flash introduction, warning text, or even language selection to users when they first enter the site.
A built-in Splash Page has been created named 'default.cfm'. The Splash Page must be activated on the web server. Simply set the server to display the 'default.cfm' page as it's default page (before 'index.cfm').

Create the splash page by editing the "Splash Page" system page in the Page Manager. Don't forget to include a link to "index.cfm" to allow visitors to enter the site!
