Product Category Listing Parameters

The following parameters can be passed in the category "Template Parameters" field to change the way products are listed in the category.

Listing Parameters

• pTitleText=Title Text
  Enter title text for the product listings section title. Output as <h2>.
  
  
• pQueryResults=1|0
  1|0 to show number of results returned by query
  
  
• pNavAlpha=1|0
  1|0 to display alpha menu in header
  
  
• pNavSearch=1|0
  1|0 to display search form in header.
  
  
• pNavSort=links|select|0
  the "sort by" option at the top of feature listings. This parameter determins if the sort menu is displayed as a select list, as text links or not at all. The options are controlled by name,value pairs. The default attributes.sortOptions= "Featured,  |Low Price,priceLow |Highest Price,priceHigh |SKU,sku |Newest,dateadded |Brand,Brand_Name". The default sort value is priority, name or sku (chosen in Main Site Settings).
  
  
• pFormat=grid|table|mambership|dl|ul|links|none
  The product listings can be displayed in a number of formats. The default format is "grid" which means they will be displayed in a table. The number of columns is determined by the Product Custom Columns setting if set or the Main Settings.
  • grid - new table per row with 1 full listing per cell. Use with class=standard |vertical |custom
  • table - single table with one listing per row: image | title + text | Price | orderbutton
  • membership - single divs with photo, title, descr and button (no price). This also uses the express checkout.
  • dl - definition list with image as title | brand + title + text + price
  • ul - Unordered List with text brand + title + text + price
  • links - delimited list of titles
  • none - standard layout encased in div
    
    
    
• compare=1|0
  Turns on side-by-side comparisons in listing.
  
  
• express=1
  Sends products to Express Checkout. This is primarily intended for products that do not require shipping like Memberships. It skips the customer address and shipping page if possible and goes directly to the payment screen. Great for membership sites.
  
  
• pClass=standard|vertical
  This class is used to format the listing as either standard or vertical when format is "grid"
  • When format is "table", the class is placed in <table> tag. 
  • For dl, ul & links, cClass is placed in bounding <div>.
    
    
• pCount
  the number of features displayed per pagethru page. This may be used to over-ride the default number of columns set in the Main Settings when this number is not a multiple of the number of columns set in the category. Set to 'ALL' to display features without pagination.
  
  
• pThickLine=0|thick|thin|topLine
  Thick lines are placed above and below the feature listings. They are on by default but can be turned off with this parameter.
  
  
• pThinLine=0|thick|thin|topLine
  Thin lines are placed between listing rows. They are on by default but can be turned off with this parameter.
  
  
• pSeparator=<br>
  Used only when format is "links".
  
  
• pShowNew=0
  Turns off the "new" graphic indicator in listings
  
  
• pShowSale=0
  Turns off the "sale" graphic indicator in listings
  
  
• pShowHot=0
  Turns off the "hot" graphic indicator in listings
  
  
• pShowBrand=0
  Turns off product brand display.
  
  
•  pShowText=0
  Turns off product short description.
  
  
• pNavActions=0
  Turns off navAction menu in the listings footer.
  
  
• searchForm=1
  Display the product search form.
